The 1980-81 Topps Basketball set contains one of the most legendary cards in all of Basketball – the Larry Bird/Magic Johnson rookie. The set comes in 3-panel cards featuring three different players. The holy grail of this set features Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Dr. J – all on the same card. I scored these beauties from the Baseball Card Exchange.

One of the most confusing sets of all-time. Topps, desperate to come up with something new, opted for the perforated cards. It’s kind of a shame the Bird/Magic rookies were relegated to this set.
