My favorite card ever is the 1975 Topps George Brett rookie. I’ve been obsessed with this card since I was a young collector. The ’75 Brett is also #1 on the PackGeek Pull Goal list, and I’m trying to pull one today. Let’s rock!
We’ve been pretty baseball heavy lately, so I thought it was time to mix it up a bit. Join me in ripping some 1980 Topps Basketball wax packs – in search of what some may say is the single greatest basketball card in existence.
My mail is usually pretty boring – lots of sale flyers, bills and an occasional magazine. Today’s mail was different… I had a small, but well packaged box from a business in the Chicago area. It’s not just any business, its the Baseball Card Exchange – the mecca of all things unopened…and awesome. After tearing through a few layers of packaging, I was greeted with a glorious vision…
I had so much fun ripping into the last batch of Canadian wax, that I decided to dive a little bit deeper into the baseball card history books – and try some 1970 OPC wax packs on for size. Key hits from this release would be Reggie Jackson, Thurman Munson rookie, Roberto Clemente, Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Nolan Ryan, etc. They’re all in there Now lets pull a few!
Greetings pack rippers! Today we’ll be tearing into some vintage Canadian wax. Recently purchased from the Baseball Card Exchange, we have two beautifully kept packs of 1971 O-Pee-Chee Baseball (Series 3). Key hits in this series are the Steve Garvey rookie, Brooks Robinson & Joe Morgan. Let’s see if we can’t find some Canadian gold in here.
It’s been a while, so PackGeek needed to come back with a bag…or a rip as it were. Today we’re going to be ripping into two smoking hot unopened packs of 1979-80 Topps Hockey – recently purchased from the mecca of all unopened products – the Baseball Card Exchange. The geek is in search of a minty fresh Wayne Gretzky rookie. Let’s see if he can find one…
